Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted:
- All your custom burger creations will be permanently deleted
- Your order history will be removed
- Your saved favorites and preferences will be lost
- You will lose access to any active orders or pending refunds
- Your profile information will be permanently erased
Before You Delete Your Account
Please consider these alternatives before permanently deleting your account:
- Take a Break: You can simply log out and return anytime without losing your data
- Update Preferences: Adjust your notification settings or privacy preferences instead
- Contact Support: If you're experiencing issues, our support team may be able to help
- Export Your Data: Download a copy of your data before deletion (available in app settings)
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:
Immediately Deleted:
- Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Profile picture and preferences
- Saved custom burger creations
- Favorite items list
- Saved delivery addresses
- Payment method information (from our systems; check with payment provider for their records)
- App settings and preferences
Retained for Legal/Business Purposes (30-90 days):
- Order history (for accounting and legal compliance)
- Transaction records (as required by law)
- Communication logs with customer support
Permanently Retained (Anonymized):
- Anonymous analytics data (no personally identifiable information)
- Aggregated usage statistics
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Moburger account using any of the following methods:

Method 1: In-App Deletion
Delete your account directly from the app:
- Open Moburger
- Go to Profile/Settings
- Tap "Account Settings"
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation steps

Send a deletion request via email:
Send an email to deletion@moburger.com with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Reason for deletion (optional)

For security purposes, we may require additional verification to confirm your identity before processing the deletion request. This may include:
- Verification code sent to your registered email
- Confirmation of recent order details
- Answer to security questions (if set up)
Deletion Timeline
- Request Submission: You submit your deletion request through one of the methods above
- Verification (24-48 hours): We verify your identity and send a confirmation email
- Grace Period (7 days): You have 7 days to cancel the deletion request if you change your mind
- Account Deletion (After 7 days): Your account and personal data are permanently deleted
- Confirmation: You receive a final email confirming the deletion
💡 Changed Your Mind?
During the 7-day grace period, you can cancel your deletion request by:
- Clicking the "Cancel Deletion" link in the confirmation email
- Logging into your account (which automatically cancels the request)
- Contacting support at support@moburger.com
After Account Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You can create a new account using the same email address if you wish to return
- Your previous data will NOT be restored if you create a new account
- Any outstanding refunds or credits will be forfeited unless claimed before deletion
- You will stop receiving all emails from Moburger
Data Deletion for Third-Party Services
If you signed up using Google Sign-In or other third-party services:
- Deleting your Moburger account does NOT delete your Google account
- You may need to revoke Moburger's access in your Google account settings
- Payment information stored by third-party payment processors may need to be deleted separately
